INMATE COPAY MANAGEMENT
HealthSecure will interface with your JMS or commissary software to debit inmate trust accounts as necessary. You can configure inmate co-payments in HealthSecure, so that inmates are assessed reasonable charges based on medical services delivered. Copays can be configured for medication and non-medication types of services, and are integrated with your trust account system or JMS.
Finance has full visibility into copays charged as well as the ability to make audited changes to individual charges when authorized.
MEDICATION & REFILL COPAYS
The electronic pill-pass is integrated with the finance/copay module. Inmates are charged upon the first delivery of a medication, and also every time the first pill of the next refill is delivered to them.
SICK CALL & OTHER COPAYS
Certain types of progress notes allow the provider/nurse to charge a copay. The system can be configured to have different progress notes offer this feature.
TRUST ACCOUNT & JMS INTERFACES
If HealthSecure is not already interfaced with your JMS or commissary finance system, we will develop the interface for you during implementation, so that inmate trust accounts are automatically updated.
